Here is an easy way to check your air Filter. Take it out of the filter housing, if it looks clean drop it on the ground. If you see a bunch of dust fly out it needs to be replaced ASAP! All the micro particles in that dust is going right into the engine and can pit the cylinder walls. Think of sand paper on your paint, wouldn't look good would it? That is the damage that can happen internally to the engine that can cost you your hard-earned money. So change your air filter at least every 6 months.
