Tips For Pet Safety In The Summer

1) Don't leave your pet in the car during the summer months, as the inside temperature often is hotter than it is outside.

2) When traveling with your pet in the car, ensure that they are properly restrained to avoid injuries during an accident.

3) Bring extra water for your pet and yourself. Dehydration can set in quickly so be prepared for the heat :)

4) Avoid routes that are solely pavement so that your pet does not suffer from paw injuries. If the air is hot, the pavement is too.

5) Make sure to bring sunglasses.
